Aa part of the design there is an optional hook Lock called the Deadlock^®.

All heads and skirts have been redesigned to offer better smoke trails, a much better profile to the fish and extra stability for ease of use. If you want to increase the lures action or aggressiveness simply trim the skirt 0.25in / 10mm at a time until you achieve the action you wish. Note you may have to re-rig the the lure to conform to local, club or tournament regulations.

Due to additives increasing the success of previous Pakula Lures™ all Pakula Dojo Peche^® Lures have double the amount of UV additives plus a new additive from Switzerland.

The Sprocket^TM has a tight swimming action works in most sea conditions at any trolling speed. It is totally irresistible.

The Pakula Rat™ is the short rigger lure. The has an aggressive swimming action with a wide head shake and great canon ball explosion when it breathes. It will hug the water at all trolling speeds and will work fine in all weather conditions. This lure works for all larger game fish.

The Rat is a Striped and Black Marlin favorite. The Frigate Rat is now the "standard lure" in St Thomas and the Bahamas.

The Pakula Medium Sprocket™ is a long rigger lure with a tight swimming action that will work in all conditions at any trolling speed. This family of lures has been responsible for a great many of the successes of Pakula lures. As Peter Pakula says: "always run one of the Sprocket family in Lumo colours, and never move it!"

The Medium Sprocket™ has a tight swimming action works in most sea conditions at any trolling speed. It is totally irresistible.

The Pakula Dojo Peche Mouse™ is a short rigger lure that has no equal in this size. The most productive colours are Stripy, Fuzz and Frigate. The action is aggressive with a wild head shake. and will hug the water at all trolling speeds and will work fine in all weather conditions.

The Mouse™ has maintained it’s great reputation, quite simply because it works so well in this position!

The Pakula Phantom™ is a long corner, long rigger and shot gun special. Its straight, tight swimming action will continue in normal to moderately rough conditions at any normal trolling speed. Even when the fishing has shut down the Phantom still performs its spell catching lots of fish in waters where no other lures or even live baits are working.

The Phantom is one of the best lures of all time for both Sailfish and juvenile Black Marlin, especially in Evil Angel^®.

The 'mighty' Pakula Cockroach™ works well in all trolling positions. It is primarily a short rigger lure, but works incredibly well in all trolling positions which is perfect for those just beginning their trolling career or when sharing rod positions on a boat needing to adapt to any position given.

The Cockroach™ has an aggressive action that hugs the water at all trolling speeds and will work fine in all weather conditions. This lure has gained an enormous reputation, quite simply because it is so easy to position and fish simply love it!

The Pakula Zipper™ is a long corner and shot gun special, which will work well no matter how far back you place it. Its straight, tight swimming action will continue in any sea conditions at any speed. This versatile little lure is a real favorite for light tackle and Tournament fishermen.

The Pakula Mosquito™ is a true all purpose lure that will run in any position at any trolling speed in any weather conditions you fish. Although it is a tiny lure it certainly kicks up quite a commotion in the water with a very aggressive tight swimming action and over sized smoke trail the Mosquito™ has become one of our most successful lures particularly in the colour Hot Frigate.

The Pakula Uzi™ is a small version of the very successful Pakula Zipper™. Though we thought this lure would be great for small tuna, mackerel, bonito, kingfish etc which it has proven to be, we did not expect it to do as well as it has in catching marlin up to 300kg!!.

Within a month of it’s release the UZI had won the Cairns Light Tackle Tournament, The Ribbons Light Tackle and has been used in winning The Frazer Coast and the Gold Coast Bluewater Tournaments.

The Uzi™ has been in very high demand since its introduction. This lure has certainly excelled to such an extent many anglers actually stop using it at times because they have to stop every 100 yards to pull in the fish!!!

The Pakula Fluzi™ was developed to provide a complete pattern of these very effective tiny lures. The Fluzi is great in rough weather in any position, but is primarily a short position lure for the Short Corner and Short Rigger.

All skirts contain more UV additive than any previous Pakula Skirts.
The additives are of the highest quality made in Switzerland.

The following lure pattern are highly recommenced for any serious game fishing. The specific lures in their specific positions have consistently proven themselves over many years. If you wish to try other Pakula's do so by adding them to the pattern in the middle on the Center or Shotgun position.

When using other Pakula Lures we strongly suggest maintaining the colours and head shapes in the positions given.

The following patterns are based on line class. In many areas the line class used is greater than necessary. For a more detailed or personal pattern based on your area please feel free to ask on the Marlin Bar Forum

Please read the relevant articles to give you basis to understand why we select certain lures and certain colours to form successful patterns.

Notes:

- You can use lures on heavier line classes than those recommended, but note that the lures may not perform as well. As Dojo Peche^® lures are pre-rigged you should check the hooks to ensure they will be strong enough to cope with the tackle you are using. For example hooks used on Sprockets and Rats are designed for maximum penetration on 15 and 24kg and may not be strong enough for your use of 37 and 60kg.

- It is not advisable to run lures on lighter line classes than recommended unless you are experienced.

- The patterns listed are only be a general guide. In rougher weather use the lures listed in the short corner positions in any position that is causing problems. In calm weather use the Long Position heads in all positions if you can't get the action you want.

- You can vary the action considerably of lures and patterns by moving them closer to the boat or running them further back and also by changing the heights ie using rocket launchers and outriggers to raise them or using clips or bands off reel handles to lower the angles.

- The colours listed in their respective positions have been proven. You would do well to follow the guides.

- If using mixed line classes use the basic rule is the heavier the line class and or the bigger the lure the closer to the boat you run it. The smaller the lure and or the lighter the line class the further back in the pattern the lure is run.

- You can certainly mix Pakula Lures with other brands, and types including the New Pakula Dojo Peche^® Hybrids, however you'll find running a pattern of lures that were specifically designed to run in the various positions, such as those listed here will give you the best overall results.
